Work station: Moroto district

Duties

• Provide guidance to farmers on best practices and input combinations so they make informed decisions on the products they buy.
• Keep an updated farmer’s register making use of the Kobo collect app to generate a digital profile.
• Onboard 12 active agro input agents in the year 2026 (one agent per month).
• Visit and report 300 farmers in the year 2026.
• Set up 15 functional demonstration gardens in the year 2026 .
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales at the outlets.
• Build strong relationships with farmers and customers.
• Report all Field sales and activities daily to the Extension whatsapp group.
• Organize a farmer field day at the end of the season.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Certificate/Diploma in Crop Production from a certified institution.
• Fluent in English and local dialect (Luganda, Runyankore, Rukiga).
• Good communication skills and self-driven.
