Responsibilities;

• Carryout the sale of agro inputs to our customers and give technical guidance on how to use the agro inputs bought at the outlet you are attached to.
• Conduct on the table farmer consultations and give technical advice accordingly.
• Utilize your business acumen to attract new customers.
• Compile a farmer’s register for all our daily customers.
• Work hand in hand with the Field Extension Officer attached to your outlet to do farmer follow up calls and or visits where necessary to inquire on how the farmer’s crops or produce responded to the product bought or intervention that was recommended.
• Report all sales and expenses to the Accountant for Marketing daily.
• Work hand in hand with the Field Extension Officer attached to your outlet to request for items that need to be procured.
• Update the inventory in the IPOS tablet at the Agro Input Shop you are attached to once new items are received.
• Regularly communicate any issues that require the attention to your Supervisors.

Requirements;

• Diploma in agriculture from a recognized institution.
• Two years of experience in agricultural work.
• Ability to work in any of our branches across the country.
• Able to communicate fluently in Ateso/k’jong and Swahili Language.

Responsibilities;

• Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities and challenges.
• Establish and maintain relationships with farmers to source high quality produce.
• Negotiate sales terms with buyers to ensure favourable terms for farmers.
• Co-ordinate the transportation of produce to buyers for timelt delivery.
• Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to expand the market for farmer produce.
• Report all sales to the head of marketing.

Requirements;

• Diploma in agribusiness from a recognized institution.
• At least two years of experience in agricultural work.
